Chetty's Take Away in Durban

"We spent a week in Durban and decided to have lunch at Chetty's before our flight back. The reviews had set our expectations high, and I must say, we were not disappointed! We ordered the Mutton Bunny (of course), Chicken Curry with Roti, and Prawn Chutney. The food not only met our expectations but exceeded them! The portions were generous, the flavors authentic, and the prices reasonable. We’ll definitely return when we’re in Durban again. Highly recommended!"

"I visited this takeaway by chance, only to be told by my son this is one of the top bunny places in town. My luck continued as I got parking in a rather filled or busy parking area, and I made myself into the queue waiting, ordering their meals. Five minutes into the queue, I realised I was lucky as the line started extending outside the takeaway into the parking lot. Well organized and run professionally, they know how to treat their customers and make the orders up rather quickly and accurately. The food was great and they stood the test of time. I will recommend them without hesitation. My staff were all complimentary of the different choices of bunnies. They were consistent and well cooked, presented, and tasty bunnies, as close to home food as possible. Even with the potato price so high, they had lovely potatoes in their bunnies, gravy soakers. The complimentary vinegar chilies were killers, I don't think I need to see the Dr in a few years after the deep cleansing of my nostrils. A full 10 out of 10!"

"It is a long time since I have been to a place for a bunny and had some time to kill. Searched on Google and this came up. First time here. Got here around 13h00 and was a little busy but only a few minute wait to order my broad beans bunny. I ordered to sit down and they brought food in 5-10 minutes Was a good size portion and was really tasty. Someone was a little heavy handed with the salt while cooking today but still very good. Will definitely go back when in the area."

"Popped by today for a much needed bunny chow fix. Found this place on fb & had to give them a try! Food was on par! Bunny chows was super tasty, burgers with chips fresh & delicious. Just to note this takeaway does get super busy during lunch breaks as it's based in an industrial area. Seating is available as well. For 2 mutton bunnies, 2 burgers & chips out total to around R380. It was great meals indeed!!!"
